Specialised & Individualised Reading Remediation

As each child has their own individual learning style, personalised remediation is very effective in helping them develop specific skills and close their learning gaps. We use the Orton Gillingham set of phonograms and the Spalding Writing Road to Reading programme but tailor our resources and methods to suit your child's learning style.

We apply the recommendations based on the Science of Reading research findings which includes the explicit teaching of phonemic awareness, systematic phonics, decoding, morphological analysis, fluency and comprehension. We use time-tested principles of learning and instruction that is explicit, interactive, systematic, diagnostic, sequential, cumulative, multi-sensory and integrated.

We work with children from preschools to struggling readers and spellers in post-secondary institutions. Our approach is to mediate positive learning experiences in a calm, encouraging and supportive relationship. and develop confident and strong readers who love reading and writing.
